The Anti-Capitalist, Radical Environmentalists are Coming to Texas

What: Join us in Dallas on May 28 and 29, 2002, to rally for capitalism, democracy and the American way of life. A major international movement by radical "green" socialists is coming to Dallas Texas. Their goal: shut down Exxon/Mobil and other free market corporations. The "thugs" are just uneducated radicals but the leaders of the movement know that in order to have no competition for their "green" fuel, U.S. companies must be shut down. They have been successful abroad and are moving their game plan to the U.S. These are the same people who criticized President Bush about the Texas environment when Texas air is cleaner than is has been in 25 years. These "green" radicals produced commercials with children in gas masks claiming Texas as an "environmental wasteland" and aired these in early primary states.

Our message: Capitalism is what has made this country great - Go back home if you don't like it!

When: May 28 - Pro-American and free-market groups will rally to counter a "mock trial," where the anti-American forces will declare Exxon/Mobil guilty and render a death penalty verdict to the company! The "mock trial" will be held in the Galaxy Room in the Student Union at the University of Texas at Dallas. The trial will start at 7:30 pm. Our counter-demonstration will begin at 6:30 pm. We are going to make a "mockery" of the event so come join in the fun. Let's give them a run for their "green" money!

May 29 - Pro-American and free-market groups will rally to counter the Anti-capitalist demonstration outside the Exxon/Mobil shareholders meeting. This will be held at the Meyerson Symphony Center in downtown Dallas. Be there at 7:00 am sharp so that we can stake out our territory. We NEED particpation in this event!

Why: The "anti-globalists," who are really anti-capitalist, anti-profit and anti-everything that made this country a land of opportunity, are coming to Texas. They will be demonstrating outside the Exxon/Mobil shareholders meeting on May 29, in Dallas. The day before they will be holding a "mock" trial where people from various third world countries will testify as to the atrocities the corporation has committed in their countries. These people are driven by their hate of profits, rather than by any concern for people, given that U.S. corporations have largely brought jobs, electricity and clean water to countries they operate in. We don't have to be fooled by their façade of "for the good of the people." We should stand up to them as they converge on Texas and work their destructive tactics deceptive messages.

Who: Though some misguided souls may actually believe the anti-capitalist message, the real reason for these demonstrations can be found by "following the money." Many groups and individuals who promote themselves as environmentalist are heavily invested in "green" energy, food and water products. They don't like the competition they face from traditional products and corporations. So rather than fight this battle in the marketplace, they attempt to convince consumers that traditional products are bad for them and attack the corporations as being harmful to the environment.

The bottom line is that these groups and individuals are trying to destroy Exxon/Mobil and other corporations so they can to steal their profits. They are only anti-profit when the profits are going to someone other than themselves. The backers of this movement of wealthy men and women who want to line their own pockets.

Our response: Citizens for a Sound Economy, Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow, Congress on Racial Equality, Free Republic Network, The American Land Foundation, and Young Americans for Freedom are committed to exposing the real reason behind these demonstrations - to use the opposition's own words: "corporate greed." Except their 'corporate greed" would do away with the free market system and limit purchases to their "green" products!

Join us in countering the anti-American movement as it comes to Texas. Please get in touch with the person who gave you this flyer for more details or e-mail cjones@tstar.net.

Seems to me that if one "follows the money", you end up at Exxon/Mobil headquarters. What kind of "Green" energy are you talking about?

To my knowledge, there have been two threads deleted on this topic (one because of a bad title, and the other, who knows...). Is there a reason that the Dallas Eco counter freep threads are being axed?
