Just a few days ago, Democrats on Capitol Hill seemed quite eager to make political hay out of news reports suggesting that President Bush might have known in advance about the September 11 attacks. Prominent Democrats like Sens. Tom Daschle, Hillary Rodham Clinton and House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt have loudly demanded investigations into what the administration knew about the possibility that terrorists were preparing to attack the United States.

Cynthia McKinney has taken money from Alamoudi, recorded on 9-11-01 no less. Whay hasn't there been a stink about that? And why hasn't Ms. McKinney been pressured to return the money? Inquiring minds want to know....

And I just had a thought. Seems to me the last time I was over at www.fec.gov, it didn't look like Alamoudi's group was doing much in the donation department. Wonder if they've started up a new committee under a different name and/or are finding a different way to get money to people like McKinney? Might bear looking into. Just went over to fec.gov but the site was slower than molasses in January so I'll check back there later.
