The National Weather Service, in the Bush Administration, KNEW IN ADVANCE there would be a tornado in the Sacramento area today, and didn't tell us!!!
....Nasty weather in Sacramento today. It hailed for about 10 minutes (very unusual), and the hail stuck! I hope Shaq goes outside, slips, and stubs his "owie".

Wow! Tornados aren't something you see in California. It's possible but extremely rare. Heads up.

Tornado Warning: Possible tornadoes sighted near Woodland (California)
Earthquakes.
Tornadoes.
Drought (driest "rain" season on record here in Southern California).
Astronomical increases in electric bills.
A swing from a $12 BILLION state surplus to a $27 BILLION DEFICIT in about three years.
Cuts in health care, education, etc...
Increases in tax rates, car licensing/registration fees, etc., etc., etc.,....
See what happens when you get one-party rule by the Democrats in a state?
Let this be a warning to all of you outside of California.

We get these weekly in the spring here in Bama. We have the weather nutso's that chase them around while reporting on the ham radio. I had rather listen to them then the durn weather stations reports. Quite interesting... really..

I remember listening to a radio interview with Johhny Carson once........he was asked something about the California atmosphere/weather and he laughed and said the earthquakes were over and the mudslides were putting out the wildfires........

It's awful windy in Las Vegas today.
Not much in the way of rain or funnel clouds though.
Gotta make sure my tomato plants are watered so they don't dry out.

There are tornadoes in the Central Valley all the time, but they tend to be F0 to F2 at most - not F5 monsters like the Midwest gets. The temperature differential between cool Pacific air and hot Valley air is nowhere near as great as that between the Arctic and Gulf air masses.
North Orange/South Los Angeles counties are also a "tornado alley".

We had potential looking tornado fronts pass over Napa county from about 11:30 am to about 1:30 pm today.
The fronts were heading east towards Woodland and Sac..
Stay safe and alert.

I have GOT to start wearing my glasses at the computer. For a moment there, I thought it was a joke headline "TOMATO Warning"!!! (Laughing at myself...) Gee, wasn't there a movie about that once?

Sorry for not warning you folks, I was unable to get on here until now. When I saw the supercells, complete with wall clouds and even a funnel cloud, heading northeastward from where I was at (San Mateo County) I knew this was pretty much a done deal, not a matter if if, but where and when. To those who think this can't happen here, all it takes is a late season storm like this, what with the mountains stirring up the air on the lee sides, 14 hours of daylight and some windshear, well, not much more required to make a few twisters....
