The Big fire is heading for northern Colorado Springs. US Air Force Academy, Monument, Palmer Lake and many other smaller towns are on voluntary evacuation with mandatory evacuation expected around midnight if the winds and fire continue as it currently is.
This is getting to be a big deal here. The smoke and flying embers have been bad the last couple of days and the sky has an eerie glow.
OMG Balata, how awful. Are you near being evacuated?
Is this the same fire that that one guy started?
