Can't argue with you about his wife. I wonder if she's his first. He'd have to, er, hunt, around a bit to find someone who can stomach his attitude.

Oh, and by the way, people who engage their knee-jerk and self-righteously claim others' self-righteousness just make me even more sad. We've a long ways to go as a species.

It's been fun boys and girls, but lunch is over and I've got to go back to pushing papers. Y'all think about compassion and have a good day!
To: warchild9
Y'all think about compassion and have a good day! Will do. Meanwhile, you think about principles and get back to me on #25 if you figure it out.
To: warchild9
Y'all think about compassion and have a good day! When you get back you could also try to address my earlier question "Also, why would you wish more animals to die a slow cruel death that benefits nobody, rather than a fast one that provides humans with sustainence?"
IMHO hunting is compassionate.

I love it... AntiVegan organic health food diet theory
You should hunt and kill all your food

I weigh 175 pounds, and with an advanced martial arts belt, could probably kick your hinder. LOL, not another internet tough-guy.
Do you wrestle alligators too? If so, I hope they're more impressed with you than I am.

Why did you bring up the topic of the slaughterhouse? That isn't what Nugent believes in. It's the system your wife supports. Nugent believes in a natural order in life. The food is healthier and the habitat that the animals live in can be protected. If more people hunted for their food, we can protect the habitat and stop the encroachment of the housing developments. That land could benefit more people than just the hunters.

BWAHAHAHAA! These people kill more animals with their shovels and hoes than I ever will with bow or rifle. And a cabbage head on the wall just looks stupid.

Yes, that crack was uncalled for, and has served to diminish my respect for warchild9's POV. As an adult, I've learned to pick my battles much more carefully.

How many squirrels does it take to make a decent meal?Ans. One, if that's all you can get.

OK, we get it. You hate Ted Nugent. Is it your intention to do this every time Ted Nugent comes up in a thread?
To: tet68
One, if that's all you can get.
LOL!
To: tet68
Did you catch Ted on Letterman the other night? They were obligated to substitute rabbit for squirrel in the cooking segment. Dave asked him why, and he said that when he got to Central Park that there was a sign reading "No .44 Magnums beyond this point."

Hunting is killing for fun? Then why are we wasting our time and energy dragging those heavy carcasses around when we could just leave them to rot and go kill something else?

Or why bother humping through the brush at all? We could just shoot them in a pen.
My guess is warchild99 actually did enjoy hunting (he says he is a former hunter), and mistakenly interpreted the natural God-given adrenaline high of a successful predator as "enjoying killing", or a wanton cruelty. Since he thinks that's sick, he reacted by going completely to the opposite extreme. Anyway that's my two-bit psychobable take on it.

Don't eat 'em and don't wear 'em. Do you use photographic film?
To: warchild9
Your anti-hunting comments are like a eunich criticizing a married couple for their "sick" bedroom behavior. Ironic that the one who gives up natural behavior in favor for unnatural behavior considers himself rationally superior to those who engage in natural behavior and "irrationally" defend it.
We're designed to hunt. It appeals to most of us who cut through artifical societal constructs and return to what God/evolution created us for.
And don't confuse the hunter with the McDrivethru patron.
