"What a lot of this is about is standing up and being a man and realizing it's OK to be a man," Glover said.

I suggest he watch 'The Man Show' on Comedy Central.

I am Pern, and I, too, am a Man!!

Go to Roy Masters at fhu.com

He's got this covered better than any I've ever heard.

I'm going to get that book -- as soon as my wife says it is okay.

Oh, please. Self-help books are for chicks. Guys get drunk or go shooting. Or get drunk then go shooting. Or work on their cars. Or watch the game on TV.

Men are defined by how little time they spend thinking about themselves, and by how much time they spend thinking about others.

Personally, I try to think about Daisy Fuentes or Anna Nicole Smith as much as possible.

I don't understand this story. His definition of nice is far different than mine.

People who climb to the top of the career ladder tend to be riverboat gamblers. They take chances. They accept responsiblity and are willing to be accountable. They can also be very nice or nasty. But the guy others like almost, always gets the better jobs.

Success in all areas of life for those motivated to succceed involves just one skill. That is the ability to get others to do what they want them to do. The guy with that skill, can get the most attractive and desireable female to marry him. He can get the most demanding and obnoxious boss to promote him. He can get the biggest client to buy from him. He can get employees to work their bunns off for him.

It works for women too. Most females are born knowning how to get men to do what they want. Women always have more trouble with other women than men. A woman who is good at getting men to do what she wants done, flys to the top of the ladder in no time.

The key to getting other people to do what you want, is always in getting the person to want to do what you want done. A person who wants to do what the boss asks, will NOT think his boss is hard to get along with at all. He or she will label the boss as being very nice. Being a nice guy only ivolves one thing. It is the win win strategy. Doing what I want gets you what You want. Doing things to get what you want is rarely a problem for you. It boils down to always taking care of the people who help you achieve your goals and making sure that everyone knows that is exactly what you will do. That involves recognition, pay, respect, gratitude, and perks. It also involves getting rid or the born lazy goof offs.

Nice guys don't finish in the middle. They run damned near everything. Nice guys motivated to achieve success are always at the top.

Watch it while you can. Mr. Kimmel is moving on to bigger and better things now that he's replacing the execrable Bill Maher on ABC's late night spot. I'm sure going to miss "girls on trampolines" though...

I was expected to be home at five o'clock," recovering nice guy Grant Walker confessed. "Come hell or high water, I was going to be home by five o'clock because I didn't want to make her angry."

If all it was, was expectation without a good reason, I wouldn't ever want to go home to that! ;-)

"I think women are stronger and have their act together more these days," psychologist Pepper Schwartz said. "But just because one sex is strong doesn't mean the other sex is weak."

Yeah, Yeah....

I got what you need right here, psychologist Pepper.

Selfishness isn't manly. This book was written by some Yuppie who doesn't know what a real man is. He should watch a few John Wayne and Cary Grant movies, probably.

Hmmm, when these "nice guys" start sticking up for themselves, the feminazis will encourage their wives and girlfriends to report domestic abuse.
