MEXICO CITY, Mexico (Reuters) -- Mexican President Vicente Fox lashed out at U.S. immigration laws in a speech late on Thursday in New York City, prompting a White House spokeswoman to insist on Friday that U.S.-Mexican relations remain "strong and robust" despite differences over immigration policy.

Actually, he's a well educated former Pepsi executive.
How about you?
Hell yes, I'm in. I may be old, but I'm tough and I'm mad!
How does this prove he is not a gangster?
Actually, Vicente Fox did work for Coke.
Michael J. Fox worked for Pepsi.
Maybe he is the non-gangster Fox you are thinking of?
Uh, lots of people.
Some people see that a prosperous Mexico is beneficial to the US.
You think I'm not educated because I disagree with you?
Pretty shallow, rookie.
LOL -- great...
I'll give you my mother's old wooden spoon -- what a weapon. You can you start knocking some sense into Fox by workin' 'em over with that thing.
It used to work on me...
You're right but none of this is making the main stream media. Brokaw, Jennings, and Rather aren't making an issue of this. It takes people like us and Numbers USA to get the word out.
Everyone please register at NUMBERS USA and send free Fax to the involved parties. Also get their email alerts to keep up with what is happening with 245(i).
This would be laughable if it weren't so infuriating.
LOL. Being a classic movie lover, I really got a kick out of this.
I can't remember anyone with his arrogance since Nikita Kruschev (sp) took his smelly old shoe off and banged it on the desk back in the late 50's or early 60's.
If memory serves me correctly, Kruschev also said that America could be taken without firing a shot. Maybe Fox is the fulfillment of his prophesy. Correct me if i'm wrong.
I think it was the early 60's. I'm not much of a historian.
Fox comes across like a sleasy guy trying to con his girlfriend to have sex with him: "Prove that you love me."
Exactly. It's like a threat! The utter GALL of this guy.
BTW, and speaking of "Classics", I'd even settle for watching Slip, Satch and the Dead End Kids put it to Fox ("Routine #3, boys"!) ;-)...
Reminds me of the executives at Enron - well educated but crooks nonetheless.
Maybe it's time for the United States to fight for changes in Mexico's immigration laws, as in having Mexico let in more immigrants from around the world. Mexico should make a pledge to let in at least five million immigrants over the next ten
years, and not just from Central and South America. Mexico needs to get past its racist inclinations and start letting in
more non-Hispanics. As of today, the population of Mexico is 92% Hispanic and that really needs to change.
