DRUDGE SLUDGE II: LIMBAUGH'S WHIPPING BOY STRIKES AGAIN

Anyone with an IQ above room temperature has to wonder what's up Matthew Drudge's nose these days besides his finger. The 35 year old ex-flower shop clerk and "Winchell wannabe" is having a devil of a time finding any story with meat. Stories about two headed billy goats and cloned monkeys are rather passé nowadays except for those moronic individuals who insist upon hitting his website at least five times a day. Such noble degeneracy keeps Matthew at the top of the heap in web traffic, even if he has nothing to offer but purloined stories from other publications. Then too, ratcheting up any hysteria around the Hollywood sleaze circuit has been harder to come by ever since (Matthew's left coast scooper) "Tinseltown tell-all", Julia Phillips, decided to check out permanently in January. With a few exceptions here and there, Drudge does seem to be asleep when it comes to news latley. I still like him though but have notcied some freepers asking the the question "where is drudge on this". But the O'Reilly thing is going over the top, like the author said BIG DEAL.

You call this an article? It is a total smear job. Drudge had O'Reilly on his radio show and asked him point blank if he was pursuing a radio show himself. O'Reilly told him right to his face and all the listeners that he was not. Now Drudge feels as O'Reilly lied right to his face and is pointing out that O'Reilly is paying radio stations to get his show on. I don't ever recall anyone else doing this.

I'll take drudge over the Washington Communist Post and the New York Slimes. Although he prints some fluff, he isn't sold out to communists and homosexuals.

"...except for those moronic individuals who insist upon hitting his website at least five times a day." Who reads etherzone?
I think someone has a little p---- envy.

I still like his single-click news links, though. Most other sites you have to click 3 times (once to select, once to maximize, then after you're done, minimizing, before being able to go on your way).

Fox News is my home page, and then I typically click a button on my browser Links bar that takes me directly to Drudge. Then I hit FR's Latest Articles page. That's how I get a quick sense of what's going on in the world.
I enjoy Ether Zone but it's not on that list. It's good for commentary, and unless something's changed, no big help for news.
This piece smacks of jealousy. Sure, Drudge isn't really a "reporter". And the National Enquirer isn't really a "newspaper". But both have broken important, legitimate, incendiary stories the mainstream wouldn't touch. When Etherzone has done the same, then they can bitch.

For years I have wondered why folks here at FR take aim at Drudge.
There used to be a link at Drudge to FR. This is how I found FR. Because of bashing, Drudge pulled the link. After some time, Drudge re-established the link. And then after continual bashing, he pulled it for the last time...
I do not understand why an ally is ripped on. So he does not have anything HOT at present...So what! Find something else to rip on man...

CLICK FOR FULL ARTICLE Yeah, right. Good one, I'm laughing.
Pathetic attempts to drum up traffic for ludicrous web sites is always a good laugh.

And look at the "real" news lately. For the last three days, the news stations have been an unending cycle of "Sources tell us the standoff is over!" "Oops, the standoff isn't over." "The standoff is over!" "Oops, the standoff isn't over." etc., etc., etc.
If the "real" news stations ever tried to actually cover a story about a two headed goat, they'd probably call it a cow and say it had two tails...

I hit Drudge' s site a few times a day.
I lost a lot of respect for O'Reilly after the Novemver Drudge vs O'Reilly broadcast. O'Reilly reminded me of Hillary Clinton with his rather lame denials.
Drudge got guts. He's one of the few who took on the Clinton crowd, fought them to the end, and ended up whipping their tails.

The feud between Drudge, Limbaugh, and O'Reilly is a reminder of a bunch of different Christian clergies who preach about love, and then put in a zinger against the competitions. We are all conservatives: CAN WE JUST GET ALONG!These personalities are simply full of arrogance and great egos, hence the trashing of brother reporters! They should listen to our ex-President Reagan; Speak no evil of fellow republicans!
Limbaugh started this conservative voice with entertaining undertone, it worked well, now everybody wants to copy it. Even leftists are discovering that there is money to be made advocating the right of issues, case in point, Jeraldo Rivera? NPR, the communist propaganda machine just found out that talk radio is where it is at! They were constantly insulting listeners to talk show as people with missing cromosom!

I found FR on Drudge, too. Maybe he doesn't like O'Reilly. So what? But for EZ to name Rush as his leak (without proof) seems a little over the top. I go to Drudge for the links. He did a great thing for internet news when he established his site.

Much of Clinton's sleazy and otherwise dirty activities may not have ever been known if not for Matt Drudge. But, I have to ask, who is Momenteller, and is he a millionaire like Drudge (not a question)? drudgereport.com has been my home page since '96, and it won't be changing any time soon.
Hannity recently asked Drudge if he'd like to come back to FNC, and Drudge showed some interest; I'm hoping he'll be back soon, and for those who don't know, he left FNC on principle.

At least he prints "some" truth. Truth is completely foreign to the major rags. They are propaganda machines on a scale that would please Joseph Goebbels.

Drudge has been overtaken by bloggers using the latest fast, inexpensive technology.

...those moronic individuals who insist upon hitting his website at least five times a day.Guilty as charged!
Where were you when Drudge scooped the world on the Monica story, Bob? I think this "article" is an autobiography.
