Winterreise, "Gute Nacht," as sung by Peter Anders in 1945. He and his pianist-producer, Michael Raucheisen, made the recording in March 1945 in bombed-out Berlin. I had thought Fischer-Dieskau doing
Winterreise was good, but Anders is something else.
