Well, the theories that Hitler may have had a Jewish ancestor are not just "rumors." The theory has been seriously considered by historians though it probably can't be proven one way or another. I don't have the book title at my fingertips (but can find it if you doubt me) but the theory was discussed as quite plausible in a book published by a major academic book in the last five years dealing with Hitler's years in Austria.

Ron Rosenbaum, in his book on Hitler, dissects various books and theories on Hitler. He follows the family genealogy research which shows there is a pretty good shot that Hitler could have had some Jewish blood; maybe even enough to be considered Jewish under Nazi Race Lws.

True, the Arabs led the world in knowlede 1000 years ago. But guess what?? They went BACKWORDS from there. And as to the Jews, they learned that to suceed, they needed to depend on family and knowledge, and were prosicuted (sp) over the years for doing well... A lot of people who hate Jews take perverse delight in insinuating that notorious historical figures were supposedly Jewish (one poster in this thread claimed Lenin was a Jew).

A typical ploy is to claim with no evidence that Hitler was the illegitimate child of a Jew. If you and AW Wright are not this kind of people, then I have misjudged you and apologize.
