ALERT!!!
McCain will discuss who stole the strawberries with Bob "Purple-faced Rage" Schieffer!
To: Alas Babylon!
"Ah yes. The strawberries!"
To: Alas Babylon!
Has anyone ever seeen Racicot and McAuliffe face off? I'd actually like to see that.
To: Alas Babylon!
Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) will smile, fawn, and attempt to demonstrate his gravitas. Then the sound of an ambulance siren penetrating the studio will cause him to leap from his chair and run for the door.

I see Faceless Nation has
Mary Landrieu (D-La.) Last I heard of her, she stole the election in La--but the Republicans let it go. I know she is an abortion-loving woman. She can't shut up about how great abortion is.
I also remember her saying she was a Catholic, but I wouldn't put bets on her devotion.

Here is a picture of her.

Her official website has a hot key that says: About Mary
They should preface it with: "There is Something About...."

Sunday Morning Talk Shows?
Further proof that many of us like to be beat.
Now, don't get me wrong, a slap now and then is good for "attitude ajustment" purposes.....but to be whipped with cat-o-nine tails.....well, I mean it makes you bleed!

Ann Coulter says there is a saying in Washington D.C.
"Don't count your Hatch's before they have Chickened."
I wonder if he will tell the world what "Great friends I am with Sen Ted Kennedy" again.

Many newspapers print it in their Saturday editions. So I search their online editions then. FReeper Politico2 sometimes freepmails the lineups to me also.

Thanks much. I went to the Meet the Press website at MSNBC and came up dry. Am watching Tony Snow/Condi Rice right now.

She gave the GWBush line on Israel/Israel. She fleshed it out a bit. She looked good. Senator Bob Graham is on now taking the pro-Israel side on same show.

Thanks, I look forward to seeing Condi. She is one smart lady.

It is a reference to the Herman Wouk novel The Caine Mutiny, in which the insane paranoid Capt Queeg goes on a rant about someone stealing strawberries out of the officers mess. McCain=Queeg
To: Alas Babylon!
Since when did Pretty Boy Edwards become such an expert on Afghanistan? I also can't belive he'd equivocate on whether or not Arafart is responsible for some of the problems in the ME (Did I hear that right?)

Well Tom, a slight correction. It's more a reference to the movie based on the book. The way Humphrey Bogart clenched his jaw, twirlled his steel marbles in his hand while under oath, talking rather insanely about who stole the strawberries and why only he was correct seemd to many to be exactly like McCain complaining about how Bush smeared him during the South Carolina primary. Lot's of FReepers pointed this out then, and the comparision stuck. Actually, if you watch the movie, you'll be hardpressed not to see McCain in Queeg. It's funny, really.
