[sighs] I hate when that happens. [shrugs] It was just a picture of Charlie Manson. Sorry. It's harder to find a picture of him than you might think... Sorry again for the tease. The Web isn't what it used to be for free pictures...

FYI -- This is off the topic of the thread, but yesterday I learned how to AVOID having those stupid failed picture posts! (Too bad I learned it after my post...)

This trick works in Microsoft Explorer, but not Netscape.

If you are going to post a picture, do the normal HTML stuff, and then hit the preview button. That will show you what you post should look like. But a normal preview will also display IMAGES that may not link successfully after you hit the post button. You can discover whether the image link will work by -- right from that preview screen -- hitting CONTROL-N to pop up a new window. If the image link works in the new window, then the image link will work when you click the post button. After you check the image link, just close the new window, and, back in your original window, click on the post button. You post will go through and the image will link correctly.

I hope this helps anyone who's been hit by those darn red X's when they'd planned on a picture...
