Just caught a live interview with him on Coast to Coast with George Nory (sp?). His grandfather was greeted by a euphoric crowd upon his arrival at Paris' LeBourget airport. Given the current view of America by the french, it should be interesting to see just how they receive Eric.

Directions: The Palapala Ho'omau Church is located 8 miles south of Hana on the ocean side of the highway. A small road just past Mile Marker #41 leads to the church.

They sure make getting there sound easy.

In 1941, he joined the America First Committee, an organization that opposed voluntary American entry into World War II. Lindbergh became a leading spokesman for the committee. He criticized President Franklin D. Roosevelt's foreign policies. He also charged that British, Jewish, and pro-Roosevelt groups were leading America into war. Lindbergh resigned his commission in the Army Air Corps after Roosevelt publicly denounced him...President Dwight D. Eisenhower restored Lindbergh's commission and appointed him a brigadier general in the Air Force in 1954.

Charles Lindburgh was a truely amazing man and American hero for all to follow. Son of a US Congressman, he was a champion of the America First cause against the tyrannical FDR. It was FDR who first incited the Japanese to bomb us at Pearl Harbor, then failed to warn our men there when he learned of the attack hours if not days in advance, resulting in the needless deaths of over 2000 sailors in order to get the US into the war in Europe. I thought that Lindburgh was a Colonel, but never realized he made Brigadier General thanks to Ike's appreciation for his heroic efforts on behalf of his country.

If he could at least drop a stink bomb it would be great.
