Pittsburgh YOUNG AMERICANS FOR FREEDOM

A Pittsburgh Chapter of the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) is forming. Anyone who is a student (high school or college) in the Pittsburgh area is welcome to join.

I co-founded a Chapter in the Cleveland area in 1981. The key to maintaining it is ensuring a continuing flow of new recruits. Otherwise, when the initial cadre moves along (or gets purged....an occupational hazard at YAF at least in the early 80s), which will happen, the chapter goes idle and can eventually fade away.

It has come to my attention that I mispoke slightly in my previous post. I said those who are not "young." Well we're all young, hehe. But what I meant is people who are students particularly. The way YAF is setup it is geared for students though non-students can join. Sorry about any confusion.

Hey, Talk about discrimination. What about us old farts! Do you get all the young chicks? You probabally just want monetary donations from us. Geez, I thought this was blatent discrimination. All I wanted to do was to go to the parties,pinch bottoms, and donate. I guess I am left out. Wonder what the Independants are doing tonight?
