Nope..not at all...these are really confessions and just downright the most personal lyrics Neil has ever written. Alex has left the solos out but has replaced what the keyboards put in the last years with amazing chords. It is a solid disc and I have been very moved by it. Something I was not at all with Test For Echo.

I've got tickets for their July 4 show at Walnut Creek in Raleigh. I saw them last at the Dean Dome in Raleigh for their Counterparts tour. The sound in the Dean Dome SUCKS! I'll never go to another concert there. Exit Stage Left is my favorite Rush album. Pearts drum solo in YYZ is incredible.

'Dog Years' was painful to listen to. The album was almost as bad as Hold Your Fire.
Considering how many great albums they've had, it's hard to gripe. But you have to call the bad ones when you see them.
