Do what I do:
1) Don't watch any movie that has Woody Allen's name in the credits;
2) Don't watch any show that promtes Woody Allen in any manner; and
3) Whenever Woody Allen's name comes up in a positive way during a conversation (i.e. "Have you seen the latest Woody Allen film?), make sure you tell everyone why you despise that perverted, quasi-incestious, child rapist. At that point, someone will probably call you an anti-semite or suggest that you lack the intellectual capacity to understand his work. Hold your ground and don't loose your cool. Simply respond that you used to be a Woody Allen fan until you found out that he was screwing the adopted teen-age daughter of his girlfriend, Mia Farrow, who is also the mother of his own children; that his religious faith and ethnic background have nothing to do with the reasons why you despise the man, but if that makes you an anti-semite, then you're "guilty as charged"; and that you do in fact understand his work, but choose not to contibute to the wealth of this self-absorbed, perverted wacko.
Although none of my suggestions will do anything to make Woody Allen a better person, at least you'll feel better for speaking your mind.
I have never watched a film the guy has done. They were all stupid.
