said terrorism in America is a "permanent condition"

Could you imagine words like this coming from the mouth of Reagan (about communism) or Churhill (about naziism/fascism)?

What we are talking about is maybe 100 organizations consisting of no more than say 100,000 individuals scattered around the globe.

We can't beat THAT?

Who hired this guy?

"We are at war. If we think there are only 20 terrorists – the one we just caught and the 19 others" who attacked on Sept. 11, he said, "we are naive. We have got to believe there are more here."

Then why have the borders not been shut and the illegals sent home?

Enough is Enough!!! Time To Cancel ALL VISAS Of Aliens in USA!!

We can't beat THAT?

Sure we can. But as others have stated, once we've beaten it then there's no need or reason for all the wonderful infringements upon liberty that have been and will be put into place. Gotta have a reason, or the sheeple might start to think for themselves, don'tcha know.

Was there EVER any doubt that this would indeed be a permanent fixture on the American landscape? Another one of those bottomless pit boondoggles which bureaucratically overladen fedgov shines at....

You had better get you double-think working, or like Winston, you'll get a little rehabilitation and a bullet in the back of the head.
