A book I highly recommend is Windows Secrets

I will try to hunt down... Win 95 drives me nuts with all its "different ways to do the same dam' thing..."

Go to a used book store...out here Half Price Books is Awesome...People will have dumped older versions of the book already so they probably won't even list '95 on the internet anymore...just be SURE the book comes with the software disk if you're going to be using that release for a while...the utilities are indispensable. The Secrets 95 book was the first one I read and just blew me away...I left it at the company I worked for...I still haven't upgraded to XP because I can't afford the software AND the latest book of Secrets...One without the other is not satisfactory...give me Documentation over stability...anyday!

Speaking of rolling, coasting, and brakes, when we lived out there, my brother-in-law's cars consisted of a 1974 Volvo, a station wagon of ancient, forgotten vintage, and a 1963 Caddy Fleetwood- which was my favorite to drive up & down the hills. Now you're talking! My parents gave me their Checker Marathon when I turned 16...They painted it black! I immediately put a Mercedes hood ornament on it...People would go nuts looking at it! I learned about car construction...I use to hit things when I got frustrated, and I used to bang my fist on that big hunk of steel and it never even moved...Then I got a Chevy Montecarlo and had an engine problem one day and just slapped the side and put a huge Dent in the metal...OOPS...They don't make em like that anymore...Glad I never hit anyone with that beast...it would have looked like Christine!
