What is with "pancake on a bunny head" or something like that. I have picked up on ever other piece of slang or funny phrase just by reading certain topics or posts, but this turn-of-phrase just baffles me.
The pictures are funny as hell but I am clueless about its origin.
The bunny pic comes from a website of a guy in Japan. He discovered his rabbit had an uncanny ability to balance objects on its head, and took many photos of the rabbit posing with various foreign objects perched on it's head and posted them to his web site. Somebody stumbled upon the pic, and thought it was so funny that they began passing around the URL of the pancake/rabbit pic, and the rest is history. For the record, the rabbit's name was "Oolong," and appears to be a Dutch breed, and Oolong went to the happy no-hunting grounds a few years ago after a long (by rabbit standards) life with his master in Japan.
"And now you know the rest of the story...."
You can find out more about how the story first "broke" (and more pics), at http://www.syberpunk.com/cgi-bin/index.pl?page=oolong.
