I saw it. I know. But Gates mostly strikes me as an apolitical person. Certainly we all knew who he was in 1990, and he was an adult then. Did he make any regretable statements back then? Most of us who are 50 years old or so haven't changed much politically in the past ten years. People don't "come out" at 40. When contradictions exist, examine your premises.
