--bottled water now costs far more than gasoline--and is guzzled down by the same kind of idiot that thinks it terrible if a bank in which they have no funds charges them fifty cents to withdraw cash in Timbuktu and who are unable to tell you how much federal tax was withheld from their paycheck.

The "environmental" movement remains packed with idiots, incompetents, phonies and the terminally ignorant--

If just a tiny percent of consumers decide to choose brands that are friends of the earth,

Utopians are so funny.

Do environmentalists want clean air or do they want to destroy capitalism? About two thirds of our energy consumption goes for stationary uses, homes, factories, and the like. Coal and oil burning power plants could be converted to nuclear, a cheap, clean and safe source of energy. Why not?

Environmentalism is a political movement, anti-capitalist, and bent on destroying all forms of private ownership. or at best turning over control of private property to the government.

If enviros were only seeking a cleaner environment, they would be promoting nuclear power. Instead, they attack nuclear power knowing that by preventing a solution to their proclaimed ills, they will always have this political power. Until the community of property owners, land, business, stocks, etc, recognize the greenies for their real threat, these nitpicking attacks on the private sector will continue.
