Ms. Ryback,
It is a pleasure to find a journalist who will state what they percieve to be the truth even though it goes against the current anti-smoking stance.
In truth, smoking bans do VERY little to make, or help, people QUIT smoking. If a person decides to quit, or can be persuaded that it is in their best interest to quit, THAT is where help should be given. To try to MAKE a person quit using smoking bans, or taxes, is the worst kind of social engineering.
I just wanted to write and say what a pleasure it is to read a journalist who doesn't sway their story just because one group or another doesn't like it.
Thank you,
