Hey ex I wasn't making fun of you! I understand COMPLETELY how you felt! After sitting in front of the TV all morning with our kids (homeschool consisted ENTIRELY of current events that day), Sir SuziQ and I started packing a bug-out box that's STILL ready in our basement, in case some yahoo decides to make some trouble in Boston! We'll have some supplies ready so we could hop in our car and be out of range of any nasty stuff within a half an hour, and not have to stop until we need to fill the tank! It's also the reason he decided to get a cell phone, so he's ALWAYS reachable in case of an emergency.
That's another reason we're holding off taking the kids to DC for a 'field trip'. We just don't know if someone has something planned for the Nation's Capitol, and we don't want to pick the wrong week to be there! We'll take them next year when we hope things have calmed down.
