MIAMI (AP) A Miami-Dade county commissioner and her husband were arrested Monday on charges of grand theft following a state probe into possible misuse of campaign funds.
Miriam Alonso was jailed on charges of grand theft, unlawful compensation and conflict of interest, and her husband, Leonel, was charged with grand theft and money laundering, police said.

Nope, this woman, who happens to be MY Commissioner, is a RINO, although she supported Bush. The good news is that Jeb should appoint someone more competant.
Although Miami-Dade County has some excellent State Senators (mine, Rudy Garcia, is one of my favorite Florida politicians) and Reps., the only County Commissioner worth electing is Bruno Barreiro (R), whose staunch defense of the Second Amendment is to be commended.
Both parties have enough slime to go around, thats why I am not too quick to support anyone down here, even the "conservatives" or Republicans.
