This is from the ever-vigilant Capitol Resource Institute:
PROTECT CHILDREN
Current law allows schools to dismiss students as young as 12 to receive "confidential medical services," including abortions, birth control and counseling, without parental permission or knowledge. AB 2084, authored by Assemblyman Mike Briggs (R-Fresno), would repeal that provision. Parents need to be able to trust that, once they drop their children off at school in the morning, they will remain there until they pick them up after school AB 2084 will be heard in the Assembly Education Committee next Wednesday. To protect children and parental rights, contact the members of this committee and urge their "yes" vote. Contact information can be found at http://www.capitolresource.org/Committees1.htm .
The root of the very term itself is the word “conserve”.
If we destroy future generations before they even have a chance, why conserve anything?

Recently there was some movement to ban homeschooling altogether in California, as inconsistent with schools having these parental powers over children. The bottom line is, if you have children in school in California, you won’t regain full custody of them unless you all move to another state. Even then, they may try to take your kids from you before you get to the state line. Parents can’t be trusted - after all, they failed to make the responsible choice and have abortions!

Thank you, Jim.
Ping!
Thanks.
Your screen name doesn’t fit with your view that mothers can kill their babies if they want to.
I like your tagline, BTW.
I’ve loved her tagline for years!! Still makes me smile.
Thank you! :)
I always just figured that trisham lost the third grade spelling bee because she didn’t know how to spell Bupkis. :-)
Heh. :)
Thank you for giving us another reason to love you! : )
