"Does anyone think I'd be going too far in saying that this Associalist Press article pushes TWO agendas here (anti-gun AND pro-government-school)?"

No.
Of course not.

Propaganda of this ilk has long been AP's specialty.

One more example of how hard cases make bad law.

I looked at a biography of Mao last night. He was educated at village and provincial schools, and then at a teachers' college.

Just one reason for me to add to my increasingly LONG list of reasons to get out of this state.

Conservatives just want to be left alone, and pine for quiet places. Liberals want to change the world (using the coercive power of the government, true) and therefore head for the cultural high ground, the major cities, the hives of academia.

I've been working in "the Old North State" for 3 years, now. Moved my family down here on 1-1-00. The negatives include rapacious taxation. The major positive is a chance to participate in the ministry of an ambitious church whose members include a heavy metal band and a state supreme court justice.

Paul tended to head for the big cities of the Roman empire. I suspect God wants more Christians to hold their noses and wade into the cesspool in these statist-haunted metropolitan areas. For the record, we home school, except for our oldest, who is winding up his first year at his first public school, NC State U.

Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts.

"Everyone knows that only nutjobs homeschool their kids, and that's exactly what homeschooling turns kids into: nutjobs."

You are a inbred, moron, brainwashed anti-american, anti-freedom, state controled automatron.

I would rather have a loving, self thinking, self directed HOMESCHOOLED child (or three) than turn my kids over to an idiot like you to teach / raise

Murphy's rules for combat: #5 When in doubt...empty the magazine

Practicing your own advice, I see.
