Only the greatest True Rock band ever(sorry, Led Zep, Who, Spinal Tap, and U2 is really in a different category, sorta a Techno-Rock). How many top of the world bands change lead singers and improve? Can anyone ever top the openings to 'Love Walks In' and 'Dreams'?

I heard an interview once - I think it was with Gene Simmons - it was someone who supposedly "discovered" Van Halen... he said that a record exec told Alex that the band had promise but they needed to find a good lead singer. Ha!
Sammy Hagar... 54... I remember seeing him at the Hollywood Palladium in 82(?)... good god, that was 20 years ago...
