Was this a trip that had been scheduled for long?

i have long thought the commie bastards were using terrorist networks as a proxy fighting force, like an arm of their espionage div. after 9/11, i was thinking that if the deal went down the way it could have, the chinese were poised to attack.

Good question, and also one that I, unfortunately, don't have the answer to.

Good. Best thing to happen to the American Economy is to have China get belligerent with us or at least their proxies. Stop the bleeding of American jobs over there and maybe get some back where they belong. Of course the thing is, we will have and have had a long fuse witrh China just because of that. It will probably take them dropping a nuke to keep American jobs from being given to them.

FOCUS ON CHINA:Chinese Leaders Quietly Touring Arab Region
Gee, THAT'S nice and vague...WHAT leaders? What countries? There are all kinds of diplomatic visits going on all the time, every day, 365 days a year.

Nelson Mandela just visited Omar, Kuwait and Bahrain. He blasted the US and UK as imperalists out to create havoic. Many of those 50,000 demonstrators in Bahrain waved the yellow flag of the Shi'ite Hezbollah. Same group active in Iran and southern Lebanon. The ruling class in Bahrain is Shia Muslim and edgy over being a minority in their own country. Bush called up the King of Bahrain last Thursady. We need the airfield and naval pier in Bahrain.

May the Bird of Paradise lure them to the wrong place (= target) at the wrong time....

Always sneaking around, lurking in the shadows, aren't they?

Every large nation has economic customers. Generally speaking, those nearby are the best. You shop around for business with your neighbors. Russia and China are far closer to the mideast than the US. If the situation were reverse, the US would likely do a lot more business with the mideast than they currently do. This might be all thats happening. Then again, it might not.

>**CHINESE LEADERS QUIETLY TOURING ARAB STATES**1) Wasn't the missile that exploded killing a bunch of US military people a Chinese-made missile?
2) Right after that, didn't China have two airline crashes?
3) Now we have China leaders touring Arab states...
4) Could Black Jade have picked a worse time to get kicked off FR?!

I can't speak to "Seeds of Fire" which came out after my book ... but it is certainly one of the central themes of my own book:
DRAGON'S FURY - BREATH OF FIRE
Book one of the series has been out there selling for almost six months. Book two is going to be released in late May, early June.
There is no doubt in my mind, with their cultural approach to conflict, and their continuing ideology, that the Chinese are up to their eyeballs in all of this ... and it is leading somewhere. This series tries to give one scenarion of where that could be.

For what it's worth, my hubby, who works at Honeywell (used to be Allied Signal) said they received the first of many jet engines completely manufactured and tested in China. These engines are not retested at the facility here in Phoenix (his job is testing these engines). He refuses to fly in any airliner.

The President of the United States, Bill Clinton, gave China everything they need to destroy us.
I'm sure he's not wasting any time in Europe making sure it happens. That way, we can all "share the wealth for peace."
I swear, this guy is the anti-Christ. Nobody alive today fits the description so well.

One of my favorites...
During the altercation between the USA and China over our EP-3 the USS Chicago sailed into the Port of Sasebo in Japan. Great story, Oops, there's a nuclear sub in town! Just goes to show what flexing muscle can accomplish!
