This special little ad -
appears in the April edition of "Working Mother" magazine, and probably a lot of other places. I saw it whilst flipping through the magazine at the optometrist's office.
The small print makes it "clear" that if your child visits another child whose family owns Evil Guns, they are at great risk. The little girl looks like she's been beaten, and she's "dressed appropriately" in body armor for visiting those friends whose family owns guns.
This blatant and disgusting propaganda is sponsored by Asking Saves Kids You might want to visit their website and/or email them at staff@paxusa.com or staff@pax.com. You can call them at 212-983-8705.
This is pathetic.

Unless she is an accomplished safe cracker she would never even see my guns. Responsible owners secure their weapons.

Ask your kids friends parents if you should worry about their kid rummaging through your draws. Ask them if their liquer cabinet is locked....how about their medicine cabinet?

This is funny. I have a friend who says she won't let her kids play at our house because I have a shotgun.
When I asked her what she would do if some bad guy threatened her or her kids, she says her dog would protect her.
I like her, but she's delusional to think an untrained house dog is going to do anything except pee on the carpet. I find that most anti-gun people live in a fantasy-world. When confronted with reality, it'll be too late.

and she's "dressed appropriately"How the heck can they say that, that vest does not fit properly. ;-)

Those "Bolshevik Working Mothers" have nothing to fear unless they try to ursurp the Bill of Rights....

Hey my kids own their own guns. Does that count? An excellent point. Thanks :)

Also ask them what kind of dog they own, and if it has a history of agressive behavior.

Hey, a question for you all - I haven't used the "bang_list" before - how do I know who's on it, etc.? Did any of you get flagged by my using it?
To: Joe Brower
Nice cartoons - I'd seen the 2nd one before, but not the first :)
