The troops are so dear, the ones that can send email right away are really wanting us all to know how they love it, and most are doing it for more then one.It is very special like you said whoever. Can't you just see them gathered there and saying..say this say that.giggle

I am so proud of our military and our Veterans.

To any current military 'lurking' out there, know that you have our respect and profound gratitude for 'being there' for us and our wonderful country. We who have served identify with your 'different' life - the sacrifices you and your loved ones make on a daily basis - the uncertainties of never knowing where 'home' will be next - and the perils you might be facing.

Please accept our gratitude for handling so well the torch we have passed.
We hope you can feel our heartfelt prayers, asking God's guidance and protection for each of you, now and forever.

I'm glad they're enjoying this.

"WAR Story Alert"
I remember sitting at the USO Special Services building at the 90th Repl Depot in Bien Hoa and listening on a tape to some of the songs we're playing today.
The feeling of utter loneliness and the ache in my heart for the people I missed was pushed away for a while by the memories those songs brought.
Many of us at the Canteen have been there, and believe me, we know what's it like.
We also know what it's like to be ignored and un-appreciated.
That's not going happen again.
