Taps no longer brings tears because of something I read once. It was at the funeral of (I think) Winston Churchill. In the Cathedril at one point in the Service, they played Taps from the Balcony in the rear. As the last note faded into silence, from the front Balcony a Bulgler belted out Revellie. (pardon me, my spelling sucks)The point was, it is not an end- but a beginning.
