More from the Oz man-'Ozzy was in a rage when he watched Yates casually take calls on Larry King' a pal reports. 'He couldn't understand Yates's attitude.
Contrary to his image as a devil-worshipping degenerate who once led the a band called Black Sabbath, Ozzy, 53 has been basking in his new role as a family man on the Osbornes.
The half hour reality show, in which a film crew moved into Osbourne's Beverly Hills Mansion to record every movement the star, his wife Sharon and their teen kids Kelly, 17, and Jack, 15, make is TV's surprise hit.
Despite his tatoos and gothic appearance, Ozzy comes across more like a 1950's dad Ozzie Nelson than a devil-worshipping rocker. He takes out the garbage lectures the kids about staying out late, complains when the neighbors play their music too loud--and he always sign autographs for fans.

You know you've reached moral bankruptcy when Ozzy looks down on you.

I happened to catch this over the weekend. It was incredible. It's what I call the Rocker's version of the Addams family running around the mansion trying to dodge piles of dog doo doo. They finally resorted to hiring a dog obedience trainer becaue they couldn't part with the little darlings. What a trip!

he always sign autographs for fans. He spent about 4 or so hours taking pics with fans at Tower Records last October on Sunset in West Hollywood. When all the fans were done, he took a few with L.A. sheriffs who showed up to act as crowd control.

I'm sick and tired of hearing Andrea's husband blamed for her actions. She alone is responsible for her actions.

In Ozzy's defense: he never struck me as a devil worshipper.
Black Sabbath: Paranoid". Great album.
This is a real pick-me-up for me, who has been sick as a dog all week long. Great post. I needed that.

Oh, the irony! If Andrea Yates had married Ozzy Osbourne, her children would probably still be alive. Of course, there would be dog poop all over the house!

I have been to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne concerts and nowhere did I ever hear devil worshipping being promoted. In fact to the contrary. I recall Ozzy himself saying once that he was appalled by the bands who tried to copy them and actually took the dark side seriously when in fact the opposite was implied. Considered them whacked out.
Interesting to watch live videos of many of the 70's megabands and find hardly an expletive or dark imagery used unlike nowadays. Was watching a Deep Purple Live in Denmark video, where "God Bless You All" is said a few times to the audience by the singer, Ian Gillan!!! Oh well, considering the fact that then unknowns Lloyd-Webber/Rice had him sing as Jesus Christ in "Jesus Christ Superstar".
