Maryland Assembly Exits with long Liberal Record

They have required locks on every new handgun sold in Maryland. They have established new rights for gay men and lesbians. They have banned racial profiling by police and given convicted felons the right to vote. They have spent millions on building schools throughout the state and covered thousands of poor youngsters with health insurance. They have raised taxes on a pack of cigarettes -- twice.

If there's any good in this article it's that the Wahington Post is telling it like it is.

When I went to vote I was guffawed at when I mentioned no one looked for ID's Just for insurance on election day they're expanding criminal voting rights.

Only winning vote I'll ever have in this state is with my feet.

Maryland is rotten in the core but decent on the edges.

Best solution would be to join the east side to Delaware, the west side to Pennsylvania, add DC to the voting rolls of the state and possibly annex Philadelphia under the pretext that we need a state which could elect at least one black Senator. Can you name any black in congress who could possibly be worse than the pair of white Liberals Maryland has now?

With DC, Maryland would have about the same population on the voting rolls. With the east side gone to Delaware, Delaware could turn decent. Ditto for Pennsylvania with the annexation of the west side.

That's disheartening, I know. We might have to start engaging in fistfights at the polling places to get things back to the proper order. Imagine how shocked those turds would have been had they laughed and been punched.
