I'm east of Dallas in Mesquite and I have a program called Weatherbug. It gives a very good report on the weather for my zip code right here on my computer. It's free at Weatherbug.com. The only thing I did with it that I have to warn people about is that there is a warning sound like a chirp that I had to disable because of all of the alerts in Texas.
Breaking news: Apparently no more weather threats in Texas. The Weather Channel just broke in with an emergency broadcast of "Atmospheres".
Sheesh, what a waste that channel has become. Thank goodness for the internet.
