Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.
Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'
The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12
Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.
Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June
In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

Hi, just got in! Have laughed all the way through the thread! Hate to be a spoil-sport, but I'm betting there won't be a wedding. Me thimks it's just an excuse of Chels. to get out of Oxford.

I heard that there will be a boxing match between X42 and Web Hubbell in Las Vegas to determie who will have the privelege of giving her away at the altar....

Those were my thoughts. Also, wondered how the groom would handle the "Life in a fish-bowl" ?. It may be fun for a while, but get's old soon.....too much attention and the wedding/marriage goes .

Oh please, BP....No one appointed you "rude behavior monitor". Just sit back, take a deep breath and change the channel. That should make you more "comfortable" with the subject.

If Chelsea has a small, private wedding, like Caroline Kennedy Schollberg (as if), then I would advocate leaving her wedding alone.
However, if this turns into a political/publicity extravaganza, then I see no reason why she should be off-limits.

More appropriate headline - "Some sad sack sets date to sell his soul to the devil"Oh, that was a good one.

I don't know how Martha Steward will feel about that!
Oh, and what role will they hand Tacky Kaki? Perhaps she could attend to the flower arrangements.........
