Personality Revealed By Where You Sit In Movie

Find Out What Sitting On the Side Says About You

CLEVELAND -- When you head to the movies you get your popcorn and drink and then head off to find the perfect spot to settle in for the big flick.

According to Redbook Magazine, where you sit in the movie theater says a lot about you.

For example, if you sit in the front, you are outgoing, fun loving, competitive and easily bored.

If you sit in the back, you are independent and don't like being told what to do.

If you are one of those movie-goers who like sitting in the side seats, you are considered quiet and don't like being crowded.

And if you sit in the middle seats, you are flexible, diplomatic, easygoing, a good listener and good at keeping secrets.

I prefer sitting on the top of a very tall building with a sniper rifle and a clown suit, complete with floppy shoes and a honky-honky clown nose.

What does that say about me?

And when will the voices stop? FOR THE LOVE OF G-D WHEN WILL THE VOICES STOP?!?!?!?!!?

"Stop This Ride !!! Stop This Ride !!!"

OMG

That's exactly what the voices keep saying to me!

Ridiculous. I sit in the middle, and I am none of those things. I just like to see the picture undistorted, and hear the Dolby sound with the proper balance among the channels.

From this I can tell you hate to be on Ping Lists.

Q. Name two people who were shot in theaters.

A. 1 - Abraham Lincoln. 2 - the guy sitting in front of Pee Wee Herman.

I personally prefer to sit in any seat where there is no obstruction in front of me. If I get there early enough then that is down front and in the center. I have long legs and I like the extra room.

Stay well - Stay safe - stay armed - Yorktown

If you are Barney Frank, you sit in the mens' room with your feet in a shopping bag so people will think there is only one person in the stall.

Never mind where I sit - I simply sit as far away from anyone else as I can.

The folks I wonder about are the ones who feel compelled to sit directly in front of me in an otherwise empty theater.

Does this method apply to where one would sit in church, too?

Since my movie-going in the last few years has been with my little girl and revolves around anything rated PG (or once in a blue moon a G movie comes out), I usually find the least stickiest area the furthest away from the front.

If this survey hasn't been done yet, I would like to apply for the position as I know some government office would love to pay a few hundred thousand dollars for me to figure it out!!!

The church Idea is pretty good, but they would not fund it because of the 'God' problem. Maybe a study as to where you sit on a bus - they could pay you to ride around town all day observing people. Then you could do a study to see if wealthier people sit in better spots at plays and operas and mention something about discrimination. That is a SURE ticket to a grant!
