People like you can be found in all faiths. Their key personal quality is arrogant self-importance -- which in all faiths, including Islam, is a violation of basic tenet.

For your information, the only Earthly "proof" of any faith is in the pudding. Yours straps bombs to children and sends them to commit suicide in the intentional, specific, ordained destruction of civilians. We aren't talking about civilians killed during a military assault on military targets. We are talking about intentional murder of people sitting in a cafe and having a cup of coffee.

To answer this q. First we have to confirm two assumptions u have made in this.

1- that it was certainly done by terrorists (terrorism is yet to be defined is another thing).

A man who catches fish for his dinner is a fisherman. A man who makes shoes is a cobbler. A man who hijacks a plane full of civilians and slams it into a building is a terrorist. A "Dr." who doesn't understand simple, clear definitions is a moron.

2- the perpetrators of this were Muslims.

People with Arabic names, holding passports from Middle-Eastern countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and who cry "Allah Akbar" as they slam hijacked airplanes into skyscrapers are, as a rule, not members of the Church of England.

As far as I am concerned although I have strong inclinations as to the identity of those who did it, I still call 9/11 as a mystery, which will be solved sooner than all such mysteries have been solved by history. I say this, as the pace of history has become very fast now due to man's advancement and other reasons. Till that time I would advise all concerned to not to jump on to conclusions. Dont u know that:

I do not have a good opinion of Islam. While this writer was more of a moron than most, all you have to do is go to a website like this to see much of the same. This is considered a mainstream islam site for his particular sect. I don't know of any Christian or Jewish sites that sound like this, and if they do, they are most decidedly "fringe".

Taliban was a valid Shar'ee government. The methods adopted by the Taliban were in accordance to the Shari'ah. In the Shari'ah. The Imaam (Islamic ruler) has the right and duty to enforce the external laws of the Shari'ah. This had been the practice of the four rightly guided Khulafaa Raashideen. Usama ibn Laadin is an upright Muslim and a devoted Mujaahid of Islam. The allegations made against him were malicious, and designed to justify the west's war against Islam. He, himself, has vehemently denied these allegations. In Islam, the ideal system of appointment of the Ameer is that of Shura (consultation) with the Ulama. The Ulama or the senior and responsible members of the society should appoint the Ameer, who will then appoint his government. This is the most preferred method. However, should a proper Islamic government be established by other methods, e.g. monarchy, then as long as they rule in accordance with the Shari'ah, they will be a valid Islamic government.
