Intifada Command Calls to Target US Interests
(IsraelNN.com) An unofficial body in the Palestinian Authority, known as the United Intifada Command of the National and Islamic Forces, has published a communiqué calling on “Palestinians and the Arab masses to strike at American interests throughout the world.”
While not an official organ of the PA, the United Command is made up of the vast majority of terrorist groups operating against Israel from the PA territory, including Yasser Arafat’s own Fatah organization. The other groups making up the United Command are the Islamic Jihad, Hamas, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Communist Party and the Rescue Front. A diplomatic spokesman for the PLO, Farouq Kaddumi, echoed the accusations made against the US in the United Command communiqué.
There has yet to come a contradictory press release from any organization inside or outside the official PA infrastructure, strengthening the assumption that the United Command call to strike at the US is authentic.
Yes, because Iraq is the nuclear threat. Iraq is the country that can support Al-Q'aeda's efforts to obtain and import a nuclear weapon to the United States. We need to go after the other side's most important assets first.
And we need Iraq as a base to operate against Iran.
A little action over here in the U.S. will not surprise me at all...But assuming there's a bright side to every calamity, just look at all of the target practice the hundreds of thousands of American deerhunters will get prior to hunting season...
I was a little set back by this Iraq attack but it recently occurred to me that Iraq could and may attack Israel at any time, especially since they are #1 on our hit list...
This could set the stage for an all out attack on Israel so I now see the advantage of making the first and decisive strike against Sadam Insane...That may keep the other Arab countries in check while giving Israel the freedom to take care of what it has to...
If you know there is going to be a fight anyway, the one that throws the first punch definately has the advantage...

I agree. Iraq is the lynchpin to the entire region. After we've defeated Iraq, we will be forced to occupy it for a while. Just picking up and leaving like we did last time isn't going to be an option. But that's good. Once we own Iraq, we can move buttloads of military in there and we'll have Iran in the nutcracker- US Forces staging out of Afghanistan and Iraq. Plus we'd be in a better position to be a menace to Syria from the sea (the Med) and Iraq's border.
We need to take Iraq and Saddam. The real nutters in Iran etc who haven't figured out yet that we're dead serious will wake up and smell the coffee then.
There have been rumors that Arafat is actually a homosexual and that his wife was just giving him cover. (They'll chop your head off in the Arab world if you're gay.)
