Intifada Command Calls to Target US Interests
(IsraelNN.com) An unofficial body in the Palestinian Authority, known as the United Intifada Command of the National and Islamic Forces, has published a communiqué calling on Palestinians and the Arab masses to strike at American interests throughout the world.
While not an official organ of the PA, the United Command is made up of the vast majority of terrorist groups operating against Israel from the PA territory, including Yasser Arafats own Fatah organization. The other groups making up the United Command are the Islamic Jihad, Hamas, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Communist Party and the Rescue Front. A diplomatic spokesman for the PLO, Farouq Kaddumi, echoed the accusations made against the US in the United Command communiqué.
There has yet to come a contradictory press release from any organization inside or outside the official PA infrastructure, strengthening the assumption that the United Command call to strike at the US is authentic.

WOW! Sorry folks, but I just have to get this off my chest...This is prophecy in the making! I wonder where the USA falls into the plan! Pray for the peace of Israel!

Maybe this is as good a time as any to get it on with these fanatics and do the job right this time. If they mean to destroy us and our way of life we ought to at least put up a good fight. This war of attrition has got to end. Better them than us!

Well if this is prophecy - who's gonna be Gog, now that the USSR has split the scene? I USED to follow Hal Lindsey's rants for a bit, I'm embarassed to say.

"But why target Iraq right off the bat, When we have nations like Syria and Iran that OPENLY support terrorism..." IMHO it's geography. Iraq is nicely centered in the "arab" world...and we already have the "no-fly" zones in place.

This news release may not be accurate, it would be a stupid move by any pro Pali entity. That said, BRING IT, and learn.

I've noticed that the Arab press is churning out their garbage at full speed. Their papers are full of sob stories about the "Israeli atrocities" while mentioning the PA suicide bombings as an afterthought or implying that they're only in retaliation for the Israeli offensive. I would have posted a few of the Arab articles but what is the point? It is all the same repetitive garbage that we've all seen before.
I haven't looked at CNN this yet today. I'm sure the Crescent News Network is all upset that Israel is retaliating against their beloved Pallies.

Nothing major will happen for a while. Since the objective of terror is to influence political events, they will wait until closer to the US elections this fall.

Fox News reported today that leaflets urging attacks on U.S. citizens are being handed out at the Pali refugee camps -- this from a Fox correspondent in the Middle East, not the Israeli government. Does the truth hurt?

Since the objective of terror is to influence political events, they will wait until closer to the US elections this fall.Perhaps, but if they feel the tactic is working, or that public opinion has turned against them (either end of the spectrum), you might see it before then. We are dealing with terrorists -- random unpredictability, and the fear of it, is part of their horrible game.

The "logic" of these groups escapes me. It's about like Ireland saying they have a quarrel with Great Britain, and urging its followers to terror bomb Portugal-because both countries belong to NATO.

saddam openly does so as well, it depends how you define and determine "openly" though i guess. hussein directly makes a 25K donation to the families of all suicide bombers. thats open enogh for me, and he is the big WMD threat. dont get me wrong, id love to go after all of them. seems it would be easier if iraq went first, if we hit syria before iraq, there would be a scud launched to tel aviv in 5 minutes, with many more to follow to other large israeli cities. and that guarantees WWIII...

"So, We should spend valuable time on Iraq, While more innocent people lose their lives?"Hey, listen, I'm only a retired Chief Petty Officer (Old Goat)...I haven't been "recalled" to sit on the Joint Chiefs of Staff yet... What exactly do you want me to do?

Their papers are full of sob stories about the "Israeli atrocities" while mentioning the PA suicide bombings as an afterthought or implying that they're only in retaliation for the Israeli offensive. You don't have to go overseas to get this kind of swill.
Last week I was listening to NPR ( basketball was taking up all the usual stations I listen to) and guess what. The way the chronology was presented, the suicide bombing of the day was in retaliation to the Israeli response.
My question is.. How many bombings would the people in the US stand , (as has been predicted) before the citizens took matters into their own hands?

You don't have to go overseas to get this kind of swill. I don't doubt it. CNN(Crescent News Network) loves everything Pallie. The Klinton administration's complicity in terrorism is disgusting, and so is the complicity of elements of the American press.

By taking Iraq first, we provide a base of operations for air strikes anywhere in the Middle East.
Nice central location, plenty of oil, excellent shipping / dock facilities.
Additionally, once Saddam's power is destroyed, unlike Afghanistan/Pakistan, we won't have to wonder who is our freind, and who is our enemy.
An Iraqi populace freed from it's yoke will kill every Saddam supporter in the country within a week.
(Argument supported by historical evidence. Such acts began with the ending of Desert Storm.
The population thought the U.S. would bring down the Saddam regime, and began executions of "quislings",
only to be sold out by Arab/U.S./U.N. political maneuvers.)
Iraq is the logical next target.
