You can exile a crazy, demented leader but what do you do with his crazy, demented followers?

What exactly is exile? I know it means he would leave his country and live elsewhere, but what good does that do? Couldn't he stay in close contact with his followers?

How does one get exiled in 2002? If you put him on his own private Elba, what good does it do? He still has cell phones, computers, satellite linkups. Do you render him incommunicado? That's the only way to prevent him from having influence. His geographic location is not all that relevant.
To: tomahawk
They need to put him in a life raft out into the Mediterranean.

Once this puppet leader is out of the way, the real palestinian leaders will be allowed to take control. Those will be arrested or killed. This should calm things down long enough for changes to be made.

. Do you render him incommunicado?Sure, leave him in the bunker he's now in, build a wall around it and let his communication with the outside world end when his last cell phone battery runs down.

Yes, this IS Debka but.........................
Given the past 10 years of brainwashing by the PA (Absence of Israel on maps of Middle East, etc. etc.) giving rise to the current wave of suicide bombers, the exiling of Error-fat is only a first step in something that will take a LONG while to accomplish.
If History is any guide >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> We "changed" the CULTURE of both Germany and Japan at the end of WWII by completely and utterly destroying both, the latter with 2 nuclear bombs.

Yes, overwhelming defeat is the only action that will allow peace to arise from the ashes.

Yes...I am sick and tired of hearing how Arafat cannot control the radical elements among those he claims to speak for....and tired of them hiding behind him.
Getting him out of the picture somewhat might make the situation more managable.

Jeez, I don't know which is worse, Arafat, or Peres.
Exile ? Not good enough.
Detained awaiting trial? Better.
Video footage of Yassir groveling and giving up the names of his co-conspirators. Priceless!
