Suicide bombing in Haifa restaurant, at least 12 killed

Updated 03/31 15:25 Israel time - A suicide bomber blew himself up this afternoon near a restaurant in the Neve Shaanan neighborhood in Haifa. At least thirty people were injured in the blast, which destroyed the restaurant, but did not damage a nearby gas station. Media reports say the restaurant, Matza, located near the city's Grand Canyon shopping mall, is owned by Israeli Arabs and is frequently visited by Knesset members.

Oh, for Christ's sake. Now the world will condemn Israel again. President Bush will go on TV and make weighty statements about how Israel should "consider the consequences of its actions".

I am sick at heart. I pray for the families of the Israeli dead from this latest awfulness.

Israel had better ratchet up it's plans for what to do with the Pallies. I know there is a lot of cheering and gloating going on in Arafat's "compound" and all over the West Bank and Gaza.

The terrorists are now going after the Haifa-Tel Aviv metro area because the security precautions in Jeruselem and the settlements is preventing the really large body counts the Palestinians want.

Israel is wasting too much time waiting for Arafart to surrender his terror comrades. And time is too precious a commodity to waste, esp. in Israel's case. I'd say give them one last warning, then start the shooting ... to hell with the UN and the rest of the world. They are already lost. If they could, they would make Israel disappear from the world map. Meanwhile, the army is needed at the Northern border which is heating up as Arafat's allies begin to activate their plan to open up a second front. This war must be fought to the end. There's no other way except if Israel wants to allow itself to bleed to death.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad are claiming responsibility for blowing up an Israeli Arab restaurant.

The implications are that arabs don't care who they destroy...even their own fellow arabs. A sign of true terrorists.

According to the Associated Press...they killed their fellow Arabs who try to coexist with Israelis. Makes me wonder how other arabs will look at Hamas and Islamic Jihad now.
