But I would be willing to bet that these folks are left out in the dark, both by design and their own willingness not to want to see anything that might upset their own worldview. They are, by and large, useful idiots who are shown only one sanitized version of reality. I believe they really do think they're doing God's work. That's what I find hard to understand.
