Attention FReepers and FReeperettes. Gonzo says that the Song Parody CD is a go. Sometime in April he expects to be in the studio.

The intent for the song parody CD is twofold --- 1) to raise money for the next fundraiser, and 2) to mock the RATS.

With the new search engine, it is now fairly easy to search for your favorite song. If you have a particular one in mind, just put in -- SONG camp grenada. Or -- SONG nights in white satin. Etc.

On this thread I will link some of my personal favorites. Choose some of yours and link them here.

I spent the most enjoyable evening going from one parody to the next (at least 2 hours) and cannot believe the number of songs you've written. I couldn't the link to "Can You Hear The People Sing" but the lyrics were so touching that it MUST be included in the CD, along with those you mentioned in #2.

Glad you had fun. The question is which of those songs do you like? I've probably done multiples of every one except MASTER OF THE HOUSE. That, I think, is the funniest and most mocking I've written. I don't know if JimRob would want that one to be on a FReeper album.
