Let's hope they keep it up, and aren't hornswaggled into voting for her in 2004. The people who promote this dragon lady are thieves and liars, and can ruin any candidate who attempts to run against her.

It should be obvious to anybody with a functional brain that Hillary has always had an eye on the Presidency.

Excellent job Mr. Poe, Cops and Firemen everywhere are disgusted by the Clintons' and their pals. It's truly a great day when I read things like this, kinda helps knowing others are supportive of the honest, good people who make up 99.9% of our PD's and FD's. Mike Moran is a true representative of the rank and file, a great American who tells it like it is.

There is something the conservatives are not doing that has totally dismayed me; no one is challenging her experience to lead the nation. I have no doubt that she would make a horrible president, no matter her amount of experience but, all we heard about when W was campaigning were questions as to his "lack of experience" to lead the country. Now, we have this old bitch waltzing in as if the presidency is her birthright and the press is willing to hand it over to her. The conservatives need to get that weed out of the garden and kissing her butt is not the way to do it.

If that is true, Richard, Why did hillary and the firemen have a love fest that was publicized by the media a few days back?

Hillary has as much a chance of the presidency as Jane Fonda.

One error in this story: The Concert for New York was on October 20, not September 20.

Hillary does not only avoid firemen's funerals for fear of being booed. Throughout the Clinton presidency and throughout her Senate campaign and even now, Hillary avoids open press conferences, interviews, etc.

She doesn't appear on WABC Radio in NYC. The biggest talk radio station in her "home" state, and she can't handle an interview? You see Rumsfeld out there everyday being bombarded by sneering leftist reporters, but Hillary can't even face up to the likes of Sean Hannity, or the softballer John Gambling? (Actually, I'd love to hear Curtis Sliwa interview her)

Just like a typical socialist, she can't handle freedom, only the "planned by government" (or her handlers). And, like a typical socialist, has plenty to hide, such as her real agenda.

"Not long ago, only "conspiracy theorists" like me dared suggest that Hillary might harbor presidential ambitions – a charge that I made in an April 12, 2000 column...."

Hillary believed the Presidency for her was a possiblity the day her husband was elected. It was "the 16 year plan" - - 8 years of Bill, followed by 8 years of Hill. But her eyes took on the psycho gleam and the actual machinery went into motion on the day Rostenkowski proclaimed her the smartest woman in the world, at the original health care hearings in the House back in '93 (or '94?). It was then that Hillary! really, truly believed that she would be President. Would be President, period. And her circle believed it then, too. Every single move she has made since then has been geared to this one goal.
