Thanks for the post...I regard Bill Clinton as the persontification of evil; and I do not understand why seemingly good people find him so good. Every time I see his face I want to smash my television.

Me too! I have the misfortune to live in Buffalo, NY where the local rag feels obligated to run a least one picture a day of the great rapist's wife who is now soiling the office of NY Senator. I use my catholic upbringing and offer up my sufferings for the poor souls in purgatory. It's all I can do. Pray for us in NY.

The problem is the "republican" who was elected next is no better, you gotta realise both major parties are corrupt and go for somebody else.

The reason these people are now attacking the US is because it is the only staunch supporter of Israel, their tactics (the terrorists) aren't working on Israel so they've shifted to it's allies. The reason these people will get worse and worse is our continued support of Israel as sharon gets bloodier and bloodier. Bush may go down as the starter of WWWIII, but I hope not. Also the other main thing Bush is doing as far as I've seen is bringing in immigrants in vast numbers to get cheaper labor, undercutting american workers. This guy is a real great AMERICAN president isn't he, truly working for american interests /sarcasm/.

ALL politicians do that, George Bush for example he says, "slight chance of war", he means next month. You can't just blame it on Clinton

Oh...you're referring to the war just before elections politically designed to put Republicans in office.

and

No...very few politicians actually parse their words in order to evade official responsibility, duty, or criminal or civil charges.

So few in fact that doing so added a new word to the US vernancular: "Clintonesque".

I'm referring to the war just about to happen, but I concede on the clintonesque. Politicians in Europe(UK) where I'm living are a lot worse (if you can imagine that) than those in the US.

Legacy ! What legacy ? He was a disgrace.

Bush's legacy is a tax cut benefiting only the rich, lending back the amount of their tax cut to support increased deficits resulting from Bush's foolish borrow-and-spend schemes. Based upon 22 months of lies, 2.8% higher unemployment, and a plummeting DJIA, Dumbya's legacy certainly is a disgrace compared with Clinton-Gore!

My post included a challenge to name something Dumbya has DONE to improve the country. Although your post refrained from the usual rants about Monica and oral sex, your post doesn't identify any specific thing DONE by little Dumbya.

Tells you something, doesn't it?

Hi Murray. The Dow is at 8,741.76 this morning, about 500 point UP from when we spoke a week or so ago. I seem to recall you predicting something around 7000 before the next election. See ya there.

And, yes, I know it'll be a roller coster, but I'm still thinking 9500 to 10,000 before November, 2004.

I'll NEVER forget the first time I laid eyes on Clinton.

1988, really. I knew this hillbilly was poison with his long selfgrandizing speech at the Convention. Some time later Johnny Carson had him on his show. Clinton was nothing but a personality. I hated Carson after that.

"Whenever I talk to supporters of Bill Clinton, I ask them to list the things he did. Most people can't name a single thing."

That's because he didn't so a single thing for America. He was, is and always will be only interested in himself. (Hillary is the same way. They are perfect for one another.)

"The problem is the "republican" who was elected next is no better."

If you can't see the difference between Bush and Clinton, you need glasses and a clue.
