He always smoked H. Upman cigars. I'll dig one out and smoke it tonight in his honor.

Bob Hope will be 99 in May. He is the last of the old timers left. I saw him several years ago at his golf tournement in Palm Springs and he did not look that good then. He has got to be next.

Dudley Moore and Milton Berle on same day ....wow. May they both rest in peace.
Thanks to both for all the laughs.

It would be mean to post a wish list, huh?
To: Brytani
This is just so sad. First Dudley, now Uncle Milty. Lord bless both these men. I know God will have two brilliant comics to entertain him now.

Unbelievable,Dud then uncle Milty and just a few weeks ago Spike Milligan.
Damn I'm starting to feel old.
To: codebreaker
Yup ... Could be Mr O'Neal will be #3

Not to bore anybody with a familiar anecdote, but the punchline is, "Go ahead, Milt, just take out enough to win."

Wow. Him and Dudley Moore in the same day. That hurts. Did George Burns ever make it to 100?
To: Brytani
This is very sad. Just Monday night I saw "A Mad Mad Mad Mad World" on TCM (Milty in one of the many starring roles, what a great cast in that one). What a hoot. Sad day -- great comedian, great guy.

I'd heard that, too. Odd juxtaposition with all the times he appeared in drag, huh? Guess he had good reason to be secure in his masculinity. ;-)
