The question is, is this his true position...or is this just political expediency?

I hate political expediency. GWB won because middle of the road voters preferred someone who was a little too conservative to someone who was a little to liberal for their taste (opinion).

Since GWB signed the bill, I want him to articulate why. And to win an election is not a reason to sign a bill, assuming it's a bad bill as so many freepers think.

And, what I REALLY, REALLYwant him to do is close the border with Mexico after Vincente Fox's obscene defense of "migration" into the US!
