I have always said that we should never use the word "gay" when talking about homosexual behavior or homosexuals. (I refuse to use Ms. too) So many conservatives use the word "Gay" and it fails to identify the sexual perversion. Thats exactly why homosexuals and their advocates refuse to use the word homosexual and substitute "gay". I correct my niece all the time, it's homosexual NOT gay.

This word can be annoying, but what do you use if you don't know whether or not the woman is married (for example, when addressing someone in a job interview setting)?

I'm not sure that word had been coined yet when the "Old Guys" mentioned the perversion.

But "gay"? That's not a valid denotation. I'll go along with "Old Speak" ----- Faggots, and Sodomites and followers of Lesbos are valid.
