Jodie Foster wore a dress designed to show off her armpits! LOR deserved this photography award! Her lack of enthusiasm was not as cool as she thinks it is - it's just RUDE

The omission may have been deliberate. I must admit that was the most touching tribute to my city and I thank Woody Allen for sharing in our pride.

Was it me, or did Jodie Foster seem tout annoyed that LOTR won cinematography?

I'd say that is a good omen for Best Picture.

It must be that "gender neutrality" bug taking shape in reality in Hollywood. Disgusting!! Curves are beautiful people!

MR, made complete sense to me. It was a love story...set in a complete bizarre scenario...but the escence shone through.
At least it did to me.

Same as LOTR...a fantasy. But on many different levels. Truth over lies. Justice over evil.
M.R. had the same defining lines.
You just understood it, or you didn't.
Guess, I got it in the get go.

Put it this way, I enjoyed it so much I bought it on DVD and bought the soundtrack.

Yes, once again Hollywood shows what it is --- they indeed give a standing O for a degenerate SOB who violated every trust imaginable to have a sexual relationship with a young adopted girl. It doesn't get a whole lot sicker than that unless perhaps he would have adopted a goat.

(Except for the Jewish part, which is intended to be derogatory in his sarcastic soliloqy) he is right in his description of NY --- leftist, communist, Jewish, homosexual, pornographers. That pretty much sums it up.

I thought Foster looked almost glamorous, but she needed a bit of boost in the bossom dept. What is it with letting the puppies run free? I say reign those babies in, prop 'em up and let the world know you've got 'em!

Someone should get the hook and drag Woody Allen off the stage, NOW.

Q: How do you separate Woody Allen and the girls in the second grade class of P.S. 354 in Queens?

A: With a crowbar.
