Great in depth article, Tom Burnett's wife also says that before getting on the plane September her husband was having 'visions' of varoius sites in Washingtom including the White House.

Burnett, a devout Catholic took it as a sign from God that he would be called on to somehow serve his country in the nations capital.

Personally I get tired of being nice to these homosexual supporters who demand we respect their ideology while at the same time denigrate ours.

We actually agree on something! I started reading this thread because it bothered me the homosexuals were trying to make a big deal out of Bingham. They couldn't accept him for what he was on the flight, a hero. They had to mention that he was gay, and it was sickening they would exploit a national tragedy to get their agenda out there(and just as sickening in this thread that some would go the other way and exploit a national tragedy to get their agenda out as well).

I never did understand why they had to go further than him being a simple hero on the flight. His political beliefs and sexuality had nothing to do with what happened on that flight. You do not hear about any other passengers having their sexuality or political beliefs mentioned. The press doesn't care if somebody is hetero and Republican, but by God if they are gay, and even Republican, they have to shove it in your face.

Yes that is why I was first drawn to this thread as well. The homosexual extremists are always trying to make it look as if somehow homosexuals are "Good" and here's proof. A homosexual does something good and all of a sudden all homosexuals are good. Big deal, this guy was a pervert and did something good, well la tee dah. I expect people to do good things. I bet the most heinous criminal did something good in his life too but we don't go around saying "Gosh look this guy was good in this case so all other criminals are good too" but, the homosexuals do just that very thing.

I'm so sick of hearing about how normal, healthy, satisfying and desirable it is to be a pervert I could just puke. Homosexuals are criminals (As indicated by the fact that it is against the law in most states not to mention in the Bible) and they should be treated as such. They need to be encouraged to change their destructive life styles and by accepting them we continue to enable their destructive behavior. Now they want for us to tell our children its OK too and recommend they try it for themselves.

How many of our children do we have to lose before we get a clue that these folks are not good for our society? How much proof do we need? Then I get to talking to people who claim to be conservative and they are telling me that it's OK to be homosexual and it's ok to spread this perversion to our children as if it where normal and OK.

Well it's not OK and its not normal and we do not have to tolerate it in our homes or in public. Well historically homosexuals have been denounced and to be conservative is to support tradition and error on the side of caution. Throwing caution to the wind is not conservative in any way. We need to tell our government to uphold the law and question why they do not. Why they cannot understand what the law is, is beyond me. Why conservatives would fall for their lies is also beyond me.

I have GOT to learn how to be as succinct as this! Excellent points.

Thanks for the encouragement though it was written in haste. It does address, to a very small degree, the differences between Liberaltarian Utopia and Conservative common sense society. Do we forego laws for; incest, bestiality, drug use, divorce, adultery, polygamy, vaccinations, polyandry, suicide, prostitution, self-mutilation, sodomy, gambling, pornography, voluntary euthanasia, surrogate mothers, jaywalking and obscenity or should we live in a society where the common sense of right and wrong isn’t relative? I believe it’s addressed in States Rights and States Interest issues and as long as reserve the right for our local representative legislature to make that decision we can choose where to live and who to represent our best interests. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

Yes get rid of the damned government schools and the homosexuals too.

How exactly do you plan to "get rid of" homosexuals?

Are you back to promoting your death camp idea again?

He was an American..period. However I find it interesting that wives and kids can be trotted out to promote the heroism of others on the flight (is this a promotion of heterosexuality?) as part of the grieving process, but those who knew Bingham are supposed to remain quiet. I don't recall Bingham's friends or family trying to make a buck by copyrighting phrases...too bad the same can't be said for others.
